If you are lucky enough to have a family chances are they are going to be celebrating a birthday sometime soon. It’s a great opportunity for your family to come together and have some fun and help to make it a fun day for the birthday boy or girl. Depending on the age of the person you will plan your want to plan your event around that factor mostly.
My soon to be 8 year old is having a gathering of 20 friends, boys and girls, over for her birthday party this coming weekend. It is an excellent way for us to meet some of the moms and dads of her class-mates and for her to get to know the kids a little better at the school as we’re fairly new there.

We will keep it fairly short as it can be hard work managing 20 kids. Starting at 10 and finishing at 12 we will let them play a bit first then dad will co-ordinate some party games. The egg and spoon race is a favorite, as is pin the tail on the donkey. We are going to set up a buffet of mostly fruit like sliced watermelon, a selection of crisps and some party pies and sausage rolls and plenty of water and plenty of juice.
The cake will be at about 11.30am and then it will be time for the guest to each whack the piñata until it burst open with goodies for the kids to share. Then the party is over and our job is done and hopefully everyone is happy.
Sending happy birthday wishes to someone special is a great opportunity to show them how much you care and to help them have a fun time on their birthday. It doesn’t matter what the occasion is that your celebrating show them that you care by doing something special. 21st birthday ideas are not so different for any birthday ideas the main thing is everyone has a good time in a responsible manner.
